Ruppert's Restaurant was established in 1989.

Ruppert's is named after Colonel Jacob Ruppert (8/5/1867 - 1/13/1939)
Col Ruppert owned Ruppert's brewery in New York City and went on
to own the New York Yankees.

Ruppert acquired the Yankees in 1914 and he bought over Babe Ruth
in 1919 - and you know the story from there!

Ruppert's Restaurant is modeled on good cheer for family and friends,
an atmosphere that Col Ruppert would have enjoyed.
